Lucio co-founded Cicci Research Company in 2016 after completing his PhD and postdoctoral studies at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata". He has 15 years of experience in advanced characterization tools for hybrid organic-inorganic optoelectronic devices. The core business revolves around the Arkeo Testing Platform, which is featured in over 250 scientific publications, 25 of which he co-authored, earning him an h-index of 29. Annually, Cicci Research collaborates with the CHOSE Research Center  to organize the International School on Hybrid and Organic Photovoltaics (ISOPHOS), an event that unites researchers and directors of R&D centers from around the globe.
